NOTIFIER was first based in Waverly, Nebraska and then in Lincoln, Nebraska after experiencing such a growth that its operations warranted a larger facility. Oliver T. Joy, founder of NOTIFIER, helped launch the modern-day Fire System/Life Safety giant and, along with his wife Dr. Margaret Joy, who acted as executive Vice President, and a team of dedicated employees committed to quality, helped make the term “NOTIFIER” synonymous with “Fire Protection."

From a few NOTIFIER fire alarm systems installed in nursing homes and hospitals within a 100 mile radius of Lincoln, Nebraska, NOTIFIER now provides protection for such industrial giants as General Motors Corporation, Ford Motor Company and IBM.
